On the 25th of September, after much anticipation, Halo 3 was finally released. We've all seen the trailers that sparked our imaginations and made this game one of the most highly anticipated video game releases of all time. And its predecessor raised the bar pretty high too. Halo 2 was a very good game, which had a cliffhanger ending leaving us yearning for more.
And now here we are, the moment we've all been waiting for. I mean other games have changed their release date just so that they will not lurk in the shadow of Halo 3. And it's easy to see why. On the first day of its release, the game sold incredibly, setting a standard that will hardly ever be beaten: 170 million USD.
I don't want to spoil your surprise, however I can tell you a few things about the game. It can be defined as a very interesting mix of classical action packed with new and exciting features and awesome graphics. The weapons in Halo 3 are very varied and very well designed, like the spiker, which is an automated pistol that decimates the enemy. But I don't want to go any further for now, because I don't want to spoil the surprise. And besides, I have a game to play. I will come back later with more posts about this exciting new game. At $60, this is the best buy I've ever made in the video game industry.
